PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable dishwasher which can be efficiently operated by omitting useless operation time. By performing the appropriate bubble reducing process according to the generation amount of the bubbles estimated from the time and the number of times of detecting the abnormal generation of the bubbles, even in the case that a user erroneously uses a detergent with the high content of a surfactant, there will be no situation that the bubbles overflow to the outside, a water leakage detector 12 is operated by that, the operation of a dishwasher body 30 is stopped to prevent the dishwasher from being in an unusable state.
