A percussion tool for performing specific work with a switch operation member fixed to an operation position, in which wiring routing for an electric switch for conducting electricity to a motor to drive it is facilitated. The percussion tool has the motor (111), the single electric switch (151) for conducting electricity to the motor to drive it, a first switch operation member (153), a second switch operation member (155), and a mode selection member (165) for selecting the drive mode of a tool bit. When the mode selection member (165) is at a first drive mode, the first switch operation member (153) is fixed and on/off operation of the electric switch (151) by the second switch operation member (155) is permitted. When the mode selection member (165) is at a second drive mode, the second switch operation member (155) is fixed and on/off operation of the electric switch (151) by the first switch operation member (153) is permitted.
