PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge of which the plastic deformation leading to narrowing of slit parts formed in a holding part for holding a leader pin can be suppressed regardless of application of an impact due to a fall or the like. SOLUTION: In a recording tape cartridge 10, a leader pin 30 has large-diameter parts 33 having an outer diameter R2 larger than an outer diameter R1 of a main part 31 and collar parts 35 provided outside the large-diameter parts 33 with necks 34 having an outer diameter R3 smaller than the outer diameter R1 of the main part 31 between parts 35 and parts 33, in both ends, and a holding part 36 includes slit parts 37 opened to an aperture 18 and allowing the necks 34 to be put thereinto, first recessed parts 36A formed in the inside periphery of the slit parts 37 and allowing the large-diameter parts 33 to be put thereinto, and second recessed parts 36B formed in the outside periphery of the slit parts 37 and allowing the collar parts 35 to be put thereinto.
