PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent stitch skipping in the case of performing sewing while swinging a sewing needle to a left needle location and a right needle location. SOLUTION: An arm shaft pulley 42a and a cam body 47 for an arm shaft spline-connected to it are mounted on the arm shaft 23, and a transmission pin 46 inserted to the arm shaft 23 is engaged with an inclined cam groove 49 formed on the cam body 47 for the arm shaft. An engaging pin 54 fixed to the end of an operation lever 56 fixed to a phase change motor 55 is engaged with the annular groove 53 of the cam body 47 for the arm shaft. When the sewing needle is at the right needle location NR and a right side meeting timing comes, since the operation lever 56 is swung to the left and the cam body 47 for the arm shaft is moved to the left by the drive of the phase change motor 55, the rotation phase of a rotating hook shaft 41 to the relation phase of the arm shaft 23 delays through a belt transmission mechanism 43 and the right side meeting timing is adjusted to the delay side.
