<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processing apparatus, which can improve repetition durability and erasing property, and can shorten the erasing period of time. <P>SOLUTION: When either one of an image recording process and an image erasing process irradiates laser beams in parallel at a specified interval, (1) the laser beams are scanned in the same direction, and a discontinuous irradiation of the laser beam is included in a part of the scanning, (2) the laser beams are scanned in directions being opposite from each other in order, and a discontinuous irradiation of the laser beam is included in a part of the scanning, and (3) the laser beams are scanned in directions being opposite from each other in order, and a discontinuous irradiation of the laser beam is included in a part of the scanning, and the scanning is performed from the completion point to the second starting point under a state that the laser beam is not irradiated so that the irradiation of the laser beam may be introduced to the next second starting point from the completion point when the discontinuous irradiation of the laser beam is performed from the first starting point to the completion point. Alternatively, (4) the laser beams are scanned in the same direction in such a manner that adjacent sections may not continuously be scanned, and the discontinuous irradiation of the laser beam is included in a part of the scanning in this image processing method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
