<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driver, which can variably control the drive voltage to be applied to one end of a motor coil easily and in a wide range, and further can keep the drive voltage at a desired value, and electric equipment using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This motor driver 2 has an output circuit 21 which includes a switch element to be connected to a motor 1', a PWM signal generating circuit 23 which generates a PWM signal of duty geared to a ratio of power voltage Vcc to be applied to the motor 1' to specified control voltage Vref, a control circuit 22 which switches on or switches off the above switch element, according to the above PWM signal, and a control voltage generating circuit which generates control voltage Vref so that the counterelectromotive voltage of the motor 1' may be kept at a desired value by monitoring the motor current I<SB>M</SB>flowing to the motor 1'. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
