PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a language processor, a language processing method, and a program. SOLUTION: This language processor comprises a phrase extraction section for extracting phrases constituting an input text from the input text, a retrieval section for retrieving document data including the phrases extracted by the phrase extraction section from an optional data server, a first extraction section 134 for extracting a first clause including the phrases extracted by the phrase extraction section from the document data retrieved by the retrieval section, a second extraction section 136 for extracting a second clause relevant to the first clause, and a modification extraction section for extracting the modification included in the second clause.
