摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make small the electrode spacing in a non-discharge region between adjoining rows in a display device. SOLUTION: The display device (304) has a plurality of gas discharge tubes (11) arranged in parallel, a plurality of pairs of display electrodes arranged on the display surface side of the plurality of gas discharge tubes, and a plurality of signal electrodes arranged on the rear side of the plurality of gas discharge tubes. A plurality of pairs of display electrodes (2) are formed on the rear face of a front support substrate (31) on the display surface side of the plurality of gas discharge tubes, and the front support substrate is adhered to the plurality of gas discharge tubes by a pressure sensitive adhesive layer (212) formed in a region (Lp) at the back of each pair of display electrode of the plurality of pairs of display electrodes. A portion exists in a non-discharge region (26) between each adjoining two pairs of display electrodes (22, 23) of the plurality of pairs of display electrodes where the pressure sensitive adhesive layer is not formed on the rear face of the front support substrate.
