PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catch basin with a built-in check valve simple in structure and easy to attach/detach, preventing backflow of sewage and malodor to piping on the building side from the sewer side, preventing intrusion of rats, cockroaches and the like, and preventing accumulation of contaminants inside. SOLUTION: The catch basin comprises a cylindrical basin body having a hollow part in a vertical direction; a cylindrical body integrally connected in a horizontal direction and communicating with the hollow part of the basin body 5; an upstream piping connection part 6B formed at one end of the cylindrical body; and a downstream piping connection part 6C formed at the other end of the cylindrical body. Piping on the building side is connected to the upstream piping connection part, and piping on the other sewer main pipe side is connected to the downstream piping connection part. A hinge is mounted to a part where the inner peripheral lower part of the basin body 5 and the inner peripheral upper part of the upstream piping connection part 6B intersect, and the upper part of the check valve 1 formed in an elliptic outline is connected in a swingable manner to the hinge. Further, the lower end of the check valve 1 is inclined toward the downstream piping connection part while moving along the lower face of the hollow part 6A of the cylindrical body 6.
