PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability in a torque sensor. SOLUTION: This torque sensor has a permanent magnet 16 for connecting a first shaft 11 and a second shaft 12 by sandwiching a torsion bar 2, installed on the first shaft 11 and generating a magnetic field on the periphery; a sensor yoke 15 installed on the second shaft 12, arranged in the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet 16, forming a predetermined magnetic circuit and having a constitution for changing a magnetic flux quantity generated in the magnetic circuit by changing the relative positional relationship with the permanent magnet 16 by torsional deformation of the torsion bar 2; and a plurality of magnetic flux detectors 27A and 27B for measuring a torsional torque state by detecting a change in magnetic flux density of a magnetic flux generated from the sensor yoke 15. Power circuits 102A and 102B each for supplying electric power to the respective magnetic flux detectors 27A and 27B, are independently arranged in response to the respective magnetic flux detectors 27A and 27B.
