PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record a trimming image within which a desired object to be photographed is settled, even in a case where the relevant object moves back and forth. SOLUTION: A slew image with a trace frame is displayed (step S101), an object on which the trace frame is superimposed and displayed at a point of time when a shutter key is half-depressed, is determined as an attention image (step S104), and a trimming frame is additionally displayed (step S105). It is decided whether or not the attention image moves within the slew image (step S111) and in the case the attention image moves, the trace frame and the trimming frame are displaced and displayed while following up the attention image (step S114). It is decided whether or not the condition of center vector of trimming frame≈surrounding four vectors is established (step S118) and when the result of the decision is YES, it is regarded that the attention image becomes larger than the trimming frame, so that the trimming frame is enlarged by a predetermined amount (step S120).
