<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upright replaceable drug storage container capable of achieving high durability of a medical effect and preventing or reducing leakage of a drug in falling or the like by using a soft package material. <P>SOLUTION: A drug storage container for an upright drug diffuser for volatilizing a drug from an upper volatilization body 30 includes: a container body 11 formed with a soft package material and supported by a container support part 20 of the drug diffuser; a liquid absorbing wick material 12 housed in the container body; and a sealing structure 14 capable of sealing the upper end of the wick material and unsealing it upon use.
