PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice making device for a refrigerator not to be an inhibitory factor against thinning of the refrigerator by reducing total length of it. SOLUTION: This ice making device 43 is set in the inside of a fourth section part 18 of the refrigerator 1. A slender ice making tray 171 arranged by making its longitudinal direction match the depth direction of the refrigerator and an ice making fan 178 to blast cold air to the ice making tray 171 are arranged sideways as seen from a front surface of the refrigerator in the ice making device 43. The ice making fan 178 blasts the cold air diagonally upward, and ceiling surfaces of a fan casing 177 ad an ice making tray casing 170 become a reflecting surface 179 to reflect the cold air in the direction of the ice making tray 171. The ice making fan 178 is arranged on the deep side in the refrigerator 1, and a rotating direction of a propeller fan constituting the ice making fan 178 is selected to be a direction where blasting air quantity in the front surface direction of the refrigerator 1 increases.
