PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of easily setting pressure distribution in the longitudinal direction of a separation member to a desired value even when there exists variance in accuracy of parts of the separation member or the like. SOLUTION: The fixing device is equipped with: a fixing roller having an elastic layer and incorporating a heating means; an endless fixing belt; a pressure member configured to form a nip part for fixing a toner image on recording material between the fixing roller and the fixing belt by pressuring the fixing belt in a direction of the fixing roller from an inner peripheral surface side and press-fitting the fixing belt to the fixing roller; and the separation member arranged on a downstream side in the conveying direction of the recording material relative to the pressure member and configured to elastically deform the elastic layer of the fixing roller by pressing the fixing belt in the direction of the fixing roller from the inner peripheral surface side and press-fitting the fixing belt to the fixing roller. Then, the fixing device is provided with: a plurality of pressing members configured to press the end of the separation member in a direction where the fixing belt is pressed and vary the position of the separation member in the direction of the fixing roller; and a plurality of adjusting members configured to actuate the pressing members in the longitudinal direction of the separation member.
