PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device and an information display program capable of facilitating the output of desired information. SOLUTION: An electronic dictionary 1 includes: a dictionary database 84 for storing dictionary information such that explanation information with a word meaning number added to each word meaning is associated with each keyword; an input part 30 for designating either of the keywords in the dictionary database 84 as a designated keyword according to a user operation; a CPU 20 which searches the dictionary database 84 for the explanation information matching the designated keyword; a main display 10 for displaying the explanation information retrieved by the CPU 20; a sub-display 11 for displaying, as a list of character strings, character strings including the word meaning numbers, among the character strings in the explanation information retrieved by the CPU 20; and a touch panel 110 for designating either of the character strings as a designated character string from the list of character strings according to a user operation.
