PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently discharge a liquid sample to the outside from a liquid storage container and to prevent the occurrence of leakage. SOLUTION: Liquid developer separation and extraction equipment 28 which separates and extracts toner and carrier liquid from liquid developer including the toner and a carrier liquid is provided with an electrode roller 282, an intercepting roller 283, a blade member 284 and the liquid storage container 280. The intercepting roller 283 is a roller coming into contact with the electrode roller 282, to intercept the carrier liquid, the blade member 284 scrapes the toner after passing through a position where the electrode roller 282 and the intercepting roller 283 are in contact with each other, and the liquid storage container 280 has a groove 280k which is provided so as to be along the surface of the electrode roller 282 at a predetermined interval from the surface of the electrode roller 282, when the liquid storage container 280 is arranged with respect to the electrode roller 282, and can store the liquid developer and a second discharge portion 280c which extends from the outside to the vicinity of the surface of the groove 280k and whose top end is formed along the surface of the groove 280k or formed so as to be depressed from the surface of the groove 280k.
