PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein the selection of sections to be observed requires skills and techniques in material processing test due to different processing histories of sections of a material, since deformations are restrained by the frictional force between a tool and the material. SOLUTION: A material processing testing apparatus is constituted of a means for performing numerical analysis of test conditions in a range of regular use by an analytical model of material processing test; a means for extracting history of variables, including at least the representative position of each part of a test piece and a displacement gradient from results of numerical analysis of material processing test and outputting it to a data file; a means for registering the data file in a database, as desired; a means for executing numerical analysis of desired conditions by an analytical model of processing processes; a means for extracting a history of variables, including at least the displacement gradient of a section of interest of a material to be processed from results of numerical analysis of the processing processes; a means for searching for a data file that has high matching degree with the history of variables by referring to data files; a means for specifying a section to be observed of the test piece, on the basis of a high matching data file; and a means for computing and outputting a pole figure of the section to be observed of the test piece, as desired.
