An apparatus for receiving a radio signal is provided to restore data from a received signal without including a complex circuit for restoring the phase of the received signal. An apparatus(100) for receiving a radio signal includes a phase shifter(105), a decoder(107), and a data selector(108). The phase shifter shifts the phase of a received digital signal as much as a preset angle to generate plural output signals with different phases. The decoder decodes each of the plural output signals. The data selector selects and outputs one of the decoded signals. The decoder includes a limiter, a preamble detector, and a data detector. The limiter outputs a binary signal according to a code of a corresponding output signal of the phase shifter. The preamble detector detects whether the output signal of the phase shifter is a preamble signal. The data detector detects data by using the binary signal in response to the detection result of the preamble detector. |
