The present invention refers to a modular system to manufacture crypts to place ashes and arid remains, which comprises a framework to support the crypt including a footing and a couple of vertical profiles, where the footing structure is formed by a plurality of horizontal and vertical members, the framework being fixedly assembled by a plurality of multiple connector members. The present invention also describes a method for manufacturing and installing said modular crypts.
