PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a high score getter of, for example, a ranking in a wide area of a national scale without a large communication cost. SOLUTION: Respective karaoke performance terminals 2 records scores generated by singing scoring in a score recording book to inform a host device 4 of them. The host device 4 prepares a wide area score recording book based on the collected score recording books, and investigates a score distribution, based thereon to determine the passing reference score. The passing reference score is informed from the host device 4 to the respective karaoke terminals 2. The respective karaoke terminals 2 inquires of the host device 4 a ranking corresponding to the score generated by the singing scoring to be informed to a user only when the score satisfys the passing reference score, and does not inquire of the device 4 when the score does not satisfy the reference score. |
