<p>Fluid flows at measured rate and temperature through the die casting molds, to control their temperatures. In the new method, temperature and flowrate data are also measured in sub-circuits of each mold half. Data acquisition instrumentation is integrated into the distribution blocks (6, 8). There is at least one distribution block per mold half or die mounting frame (3, 4). Each sub-circuit includes at least one sensor and one control valve. An independent claim IS INCLUDED FOR corresponding die casting equipment.</p> |
