The device for producing undisturbed soil samples from ground containing ballast comprises an outer tube (1) made to penetrate the soil by a drive unit and an inner tube concentrically arranged in the outer tube for receiving a sample core. A ring-shaped crown (2) with projecting hard metal bodies is fitted at the free end of the outer tube. With the vibration and thrust-activated effect when the device is driven into the ground the crown pushes down material which is located in its path. The crown can also be formed so that the hard metal bodies exceed the outer tube outer radius and its radial inner part has a radius which somewhat exceeds the inner radius of the inner tube. |
