COMMUNICATION METHOD FOR WIRELESS NETWORK AND WIRELESS NETWORK SYSTEM THEREOF

A communication method in a wireless network and a wireless network system for the same are provided to minimize the power consumption of a station as an access point transmits an FBMS(Flexible Broadcast Multicast Service) response frame containing a current counter in response to an FBMS request frame from the station. A station in a wireless network system which supports FBMS transmits an FBMS request frame containing all FBMS elements to an access point. Receiving the FBMS request frame, the access point transmits an FBMS response frame to the station. In this case, the access point transmits the FBMS response frame together with a current counter. The current counter is inserted in the FBMS counter filed of the FBMS response frame. The FBMS counter filed also contains an FBMS counter ID together the current counter.
