This system of entrapment for towing of motorcycles consists of two small parts, figure 1 (d) (c). The first part is a system in the shape of arch of entrapment of the front wheel of the motorcycle, figure 1 (c). Its role is to penetrate and to entrap within it the front wheel of the motorcycle. The entrapment arc cooperates with the second part, figure 1 (d) that is a small accessory that is fixed on the arm of the hitch, figure 1 (4) of the vehicle. The first part of entrapment cooperates with the second part and they form an articulation, figure 1 (1) (centre line) in order to turn to the right-left. A part, figure 1 (6) of the entrapment arc makes use of a ramp for the uplifting of the front wheel on the top and within the casing of the entrapment arc, and then the one that used the ramp closes; by closure it entraps the front wheel, fastening by belt, figure 1 (3). Then we fasten the lateral bolts clamps, figure 1 (7), (15) so that the motorcycle does not swing and for motorcycles of higher engine capacity we tight with the belt, figure 1 (42) and the motorcycle is ready for towing. The entire special system may be mounted on the hitch, folding sideways (the first part (c) of entrapment of the wheel) in parallel to the bumper of the vehicle. The rod 1 (r, rÆ) is the one that stabilizes the steering wheel of the motorcycle in straight position. |
