A brake device is provided to lift an upper plate quickly by installing springs and a lift unit comprising a cam box, a cam, and a cam roller between the upper plate and a lower plate. A brake device comprises a pressing unit(70), an upper plate(10), a lower plate(20), first springs(30), a lift unit(40), support shafts(50), and a fixing unit(60). The pressing unit transfers pressure applied by a user. The upper plate is moved up and down by the pressing unit. The lower plate is separated from the upper plate and provided with holes. The first springs are installed between the upper and lower plates to lift the upper plate. The lift unit includes a cam box(41), a cam(43), and a cam roller(44). The cam box is located on the bottom surface of the upper plate and provided with a groove on the lateral surface. The cam is located on the upper surface of the lower plate and provided with a guide groove on the lateral surface opposite to the groove of the cam box. The cam roller is inserted into the groove of the cam and the guide groove of the cam box and moves along the guide groove of the cam. The support shafts are fixed to the bottom of the upper plate and moves along the holes of the lower plate in corresponding to the movement of the upper plate. The fixing unit has a central groove for insertion of the support shaft.
