METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING MULTIMEDIA DATA CREATED AT MOBILE TERMINAL

An MO special number management method and system for managing multimedia data created at a portable terminal are provided to transmit multimedia data to an address on a network pre-registered on the system if a caller stores the storage space of the multimedia data to transmit previously on the system and transmit the multimedia data to a preset MO special number by using the portable terminal, thereby registering data in a desired storage space or transmitting the data to users in real time only with a simple operation of the portable terminal. An MO(Mobile Originated) special number management method comprises the following steps of: maintaining a user DB(501); receiving created multimedia data from a calling terminal when an MO special number is included into the user DB; identifying data registration identification information corresponding to the MO special number by referring to the user DB(503); transmitting the multimedia data to an address on a network assigned by the identified data registration identification information(504); and receiving the multimedia data(505).
