PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a wearer of thin and/or high-heeled shoes to walk with sufficient support across soft and irregular surfaces. SOLUTION: A support sleeve for high heels on ladies's shoes with a sleeve body to accommodate a heel, the sleeve body having a substantially larger base than the base of the heel to be accommodated, and fixing means (36, 38, 46) for attaching it to the heel.
