<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standard specification selection device capable of analyzing a tendency of fluctuating market client demands for selecting a standard specification to develop a system for producing and selling a product complying with client needs in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A specification point calculation processing part 561 calculates a specification point for each of specification items registered in a specification performance management table 501, in which specification items for each of ordered products are registered, based on a specification management table 502, in which specification categories each showing a standard/specific specification are registered for each of the specification items. A specification determination processing part 562 determines that a specification item is a standard specification when the specification point is a predetermined specification threshold value or more, and determines that the specification item is a special specification when the specification point is smaller than the predetermined specification threshold value.
