PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal with a suspicious person detection function for enabling a user to cope with a suspicious person in good time by detecting the suspicious person, monitoring his/her behavior and notifying the user of a situation. SOLUTION: A telephone position detecting part acquires position data of a portable telephone 10. A living body searching part 24 searches a 360 degree environment by an electromagnetic wave to detect a living body and further detects a living body type, and a distance and a direction where the living body is detected. A suspicious person judging part 27 receives detection results of the living body searching part 24 and judges whether the detected living body is a suspicious person.
