PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in conventional electric power monitors that users are required to prepare plans for achieving targeted power reduction by themselves, since the power monitor does not assist in target setting but displays an achievement ratio for each hourly target for a preset long period of time which is not less than one day. SOLUTION: This electric power monitor comprises a power measurement means 5 for a connected apparatus, a clocking means 7, a storage means 6 for storing the result of power measurement, an energy-saving plan formulation means 8 for presenting plans to realize a prescribed energy saving rate based on a power use pattern of the apparatus stored with respect to the prescribed period of time, and a report means 10. In reporting formulated plans, the formulation means 8 presents plans for realizing the prescribed saving rate, according to the actual usage conditions of the individual apparatuses. A user can realize energy saving by employing and implementing one of the presented plans, without having to take the trouble of setting hourly targets of electrical energy usage. |
