POSITION DETECTION APPARATUS, PAPER FEED APPARATUS USING THE SAME, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of high-accuracy detection positions, as needed, without having to complicate the control and manufacture of a position detection apparatus, or raise the manufacturing cost, when uniform detection accuracy is not needed at a position detecting surface, such as, paper feeding tray of an image forming apparatus.

SOLUTION: A position detection region in the position detection apparatus is provided with a sensor substrate 10 where loop coils 11 are juxtaposed at different arrangement intervals according to sections.
