<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of suppressing the generation of wind noise during the traveling of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This door handle device 1 for the vehicle comprises: a grip handle 3 which is composed of a base 4 and a cover 5 attached in such a manner as to cover the base 4 in which an electric component 6 is built, and provided in such a manner as to be extractable in a fixed range with respect to a door 2 for the vehicle; a hole 8 for cabling which is provided in the base 4 in such a manner as to enable the passage of a harness 7 connected to the electric component 6; and a guide member 10 for guiding the harness 7. A cover member 11 for covering a part of the hole 8 is formed in the guide member 10. The cover member 11 covers a part of the hole 8 while securing a space which enables the passage of at least the harness 7. In addition, preferably, the door handle device 1 has a locking portion 12 for locking the cover member 11 to the base 4.
