PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furnace body water cooling structure for a flash smelting furnace, exhibiting sufficient cooling performance over a long period of time even in high load operation by preventing wear of refractory in a triangular ceiling part of an uptake in the vicinity of the lower part of a shaft. SOLUTION: This furnace body water cooling structure for the flash smelting furnace is characterized in that a copper-made water-cooled jacket 10 where a pipe member 17 for flowing of cooling water in the interior is cast is hung down and supported on the triangular ceiling part A of a settler 3, and the water-cooled jacket 10 is divided into one or more parts, and disposed on the triangular ceiling part A.
