PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubing device which is suitable for work in a corner part. SOLUTION: An ascent/descent frame is provided to a base frame 11 by a plurality of thrust cylinders so that the ascent/descent frame can move up and down. Then a chucking mechanism 41 is provided to the ascent/descent frame which can be rotated by a motor 31, and a cylindrical body 1 is gripped by the chucking mechanism 41. The cylindrical body 1 penetrating a through hole 80 of each of the frames is gripped by the chucking mechanism 41, and the rotation by the motor 31 and the up-and-down movement by the thrust cylinder are transferred to the cylindrical body. Among a plurality of thrust cylinders provided in the circumference of the through hole 80, one unit is arranged in the corner part of one of the nearly rectangular-shaped outside diameter of the device projected on the horizontal surface, or one unit is arranged in each of the two adjacent corner parts. Then the rotary driving part of the tubing device 10, which is provided with the motor 31, is arranged on the side other than the two sides sandwiching the corner part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
