<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of compressing a monochrome image with high efficiency which can be miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor is constituted by providing: a memory 11 for a monochrome image which stores an input image comprised of a plurality of monochrome images; a first conversion part 20 which outputs color signals of each of three monochrome images as different kinds of color signals at each three monochrome image; first and second color image memories 31, 32 which store the three color signals outputted by the first conversion part 20 as color signals of one pseudo color image; an image compression part 40 which compresses the pseudo color image as a color image; a storage means 50 for storing a compressed image; a compressed image decompression part 60 which restore the pseudo color image from the compressed image and a second conversion part 70 which outputs the three color signals of one pseudo color image as color signals of the three monochrome images, respectively, to each of the decompressed pseudo color images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
