<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To couple database tables to each other even if values of an attribute selected therefrom as a coupling key are not perfectly matched. <P>SOLUTION: When a master table, a first joint key, a slave table, and a second joint key are designated by an operator (steps S101 and S102), a join module of a database management device retrieves, a record having a value partially including a value of the second joint key of the record concerned in the first joint key from the master table for each of all records in the slave table, and couples detected records to one another when the records can be detected from the master table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
