CHARGING/DISCHARGING CONTROL CIRCUIT AND RECHARGEABLE POWER SUPPLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging/discharging control circuit where consumption current can be reduced even if a battery becomes an overcurrent state, and to provide a rechargeable power supply. SOLUTION: An over-charge detection comparator 121 detects an over-charge state of the battery 101. An overcurrent detection comparator 120 detects the overcurrent state of the battery 101. A control circuit 210 turns on or off a switch 102 and a protection circuit 50 based on output signals of the comparators. The protection circuit 50 connects a resistor 125 to a route between a VSS terminal and an overcurrent detection terminal by turning them on and detaches the resistor 125 from the route by turning them off based on an output signal from the control circuit 210.
