PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection substrate manufacturing method capable of selectively and easily forming a metal part formed of molten metal at a desired position on a substrate. SOLUTION: The method at least sequentially includes: a step of forming a patterned first film 2 on one surface of the substrate 1; a step of forming a second film 3 which covers one surface of the substrate and the first film, has openings 3a for exposing a part of the first film, and is lower in wetting with the molten metal 10 than the first film; a step of immersing one surface side of the substrate into the molten metal and forming a metal part 4 formed of the molten metal, so as to fill the openings; and a step of removing the second film.
