<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample for calibration that can be handled easily, cannot be lost easily, and can greatly reduce time required for calibration work, and to provide a method of calibrating the part packaging apparatus using the sample. <P>SOLUTION: When obtaining a calibration value for canceling the positional misalignment between the actual mounting position of parts when mounting the parts at a target position by moving a transfer head 8 based on control data and the target position in the part packaging apparatus for picking up the parts by the transfer head 8 having a suction nozzle and mounting the parts on the substrate, a sample 30 for calibration of which image recognition is performed by mounting on an inspection plane by the transfer head 8 has a base member 31 detachably fitted to a nozzle holding section 10 in the transfer head 8 where the suction nozzle has been removed, and a sample body 40 that is fixed on a lower surface 32 (a surface facing the inspection plane) in the base member 31 and has an index to be subjected to image recognition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
