PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform execution of non-arc opening and failure judging, in the power supply system. SOLUTION: The power supply system 1000 includes an SMR 120, an MG inverter 130, a first MG 140, a second MG 142, a high-voltage power supply 160, a low-voltage power supply 170, an AC inverter 200, an HV_ECU 100 for releasing the SMR 120 after directing the MG inverter 130 to cut off the first and second MGs 140, 142 through a signal line 102 and giving a direction to cut off the AC inverter 200 through a signal line104, and an AC_ECU 400 for determining that the signal line 104 has a fault causing a GND short-circuit when the state of the AC inverter 200 detected based on a signal from the HV_ECU 100 does not match the state of the AC inverter 200 detected based on a signal from the AC inverter 200.
