PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer fuse of which micronization and reduction of weight are easy and disconnection check is easy, relating to a fuse used for electronic devices and household appliances. SOLUTION: An electric conductor 2 is formed at both ends of a fuse element 1 whose main component is conductive polymer in which conjugated polymer is made conductive by a dopant. The fuse element 1 is formed by melting the conductive polymer 2 and then coating (printing). The conductive polymer is selected from among at least polyaniline dielectrics, polypyrrole dielectrics, and polythiophene dielectrics. The dopant contains at least one selected from among a sulfonic acid group, a phosphorous acid group, carboxilic acid group, and a salt group of them. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
