This invention provides a method for filling a foaming mixture into a mold cavity, which method does not induce a defective mold. This method comprises stirring a particulate aggregate, a water soluble binder and water to prepare a foaming mixture which is filled into a cavity in a horizontal split type mold by an injection method and is characterized by comprising previously forming an injection port communicated with the cavity at the side position in a die matching part in the horizontal split type mold, connecting, to the injection port of the horizontal split type mold, a discharge port of foaming mixture injection means comprising a stirring tank in a closed-end cylindrical form and a pushing-up mechanism for pushing up the foaming mixture within the stirring tank, the stirring tank having an open upper end for receiving a particulate aggregate, a water soluble binder, and water and stirring them, and having on its side wall a foaming mixture discharge port in a throughhole form, operating the pushing-up mechanism to elevate the foaming mixture in the foaming mixture injection means and, further, to discharge the mixture through the discharge port and to inject the mixture into the injection port, thereby filling the inside of the cavity with the foaming mixture while pushing out the air within the cavity. |
