A printing management server is connected to printers through a network and stores printing data printable by means of a printer, with the printing data associated with user information. The printing management server has control means for controlling execution of a command including user information received from a printer. When the control means receives a command, and if another printer is printing correspondingly to the user information included in the command under control of the control means, the control means stops the another printer printing and controls the another printer to execute processing corresponding to the command.
