摘要 The invention relates to a multi-functional hand weaving mechanism comprising a device that enables a user to construct hand weaving looms with multiple shapes, sizes and inter-weaving line distances using three basic plastic parts (known as the gadget, the extender and the pin) which can be combined to construct different types of pin looms, such as squares, rectangles, triangles, hexagons, dodecagons, multi-armed stars, rhombuses and polygons, all of which are possible owing to the versatility of the gadget which can operate at different working angles simply by locking the moving part thereof at a pre-determined angle by inserting a moving cylindrical pin which is shaped such that it can be secured in the respective part (gadget or extender) in cavities designed and arranged at different angles for this purpose. Only the gadget can be used to produce the above-mentioned shapes, but the extender can be used to vary the length of the geometric shapes constructed with the gadget. In addition, the type of stitch to be used can be varied by inserting the moving pins in the gadget or the extender and positioning same such as to vary the stitch width from a separating distance of two centimeters to one centimeter or to blocks of distances depending on where the pin is positioned, thereby multiplying the number of weaving line width combinations possible for the accessory or woven piece. The multi-functional hand weaving loom makes possible all of the traditional weaving techniques of the American, European and Asian cultures. The gadget and the extender are provided with two male and female end coupling devices which can be used to form a gadget/gadget, extender/extender or gadget/extender assembly. The upper part of the gadget and the extender is provided with a curved depression which is designed to minimise material use during manufacture, to provide stiffness and to form a suitable shape that is not sharp. Multiple shape and size combinations can be obtained by joining the gadget/gadget, extender/extender and gadget/extender parts manually without force. The gadget and the extender are provided with female cavities or perforations in which the moving pin can be anchored in order to vary the working angles and the weaving widths of the fibres. In addition to extending the size of the shapes formed by the gadget and providing housings for the moving pin, thereby varying the fibre weaving width, the extender is provided with female and male cavities on the sides thereof to enable parts to be connected in parallel so that it is possible to construct a loom that can be used to weave bracelets, belts, wristlets and other types of woven fabrics for clothing. For this purpose, an extender with lateral female cavities is anchored to an extender with a lateral male cavity using the internal part of the extender (following the assembly of any shape) or the external part (internal side with internal side and external side with external side) such that two distances for narrow woven fabrics can be obtained, thereby further increasing the versatility of the device.
