PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module constituted to cope with the positional deviation of an imaging device such as a CCD in an optical axis direction with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The optical module is equipped with: a lens holder for holding a lens; a lens barrel circumscribing the lens holder and holding the lens holder so that the lens holder slides freely in the optical axis direction; a position changing means for changing the position of the lens holder in the optical axis direction; and a positional adjustment member provided at the lower part of the position changing means. In the optical module, the position of the position changing means can be changed in the optical axis direction by using the positional adjustment member. Therefore, even when the position of the imaging device on a base plate is deviated, the optical module copes with the positional deviation of the imaging device while maintaining the previously designed relation between the lens holder and the position changing means.
