PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently absorb energy in a rear collision more than conventional energy. SOLUTION: This seat back 3 of a vehicular seat 1 has a seat back body 30 supporting an occupant's back from the rear, a lower frame 33 supporting the seat back body 30, and a rotary damper 5 connecting the seat back body 30 to the lower frame 33 and inclining the seat back body 30 backward while absorbing the energy by this load when the load of a predetermined size or more is applied backward to the seat back body 30.
