Nickel base alloys for use in applications for highly corrosive and abras ive environments. The alloys contain a large volume fraction of metallic car bide particles that provide wear and abrasion resistance. The alloys are pro duced by induction melting and gas atomization to form alloy powder particle s. The particles are consolidated by hot isostatic pressing to form a solid article.
