摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and its manufacturing method with simplified battery manufacturing processes, hardly generating internal short-circuiting, and capable of improving safety. <P>SOLUTION: A first insulation part 24a is fitted at a first positive electrode active material non-forming part 23 without a positive electrode active material layer 22 of a winding end of a positive electrode 20 provided, and a second insulation part 26 and a third insulation part 24b are fitted to a second positive electrode active material non-forming part 25 of a winding start of the positive electrode 20. Since the first insulation part 24a is provided straddling over a winding end side edge part of the positive electrode active material layer 22 and the first active material non-forming part 23, and the second insulation part 26 straddles over a winding start side edge part of the positive electrode active material layer 22 and the second active material non-forming part 25, so that both end parts of the positive electrode active material layer 22 can be prevented from being crushed to bring forth internal short-circuiting even when pressing force is operated by winding. And also, since a third insulation part 24b is provided at the winding start part of the positive electrode 20, a tip is smoothly wound into a separator 11 to be finely wound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
