<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy for detecting a failure in a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature within a high pressure tank. <P>SOLUTION: In a hydrogen tank, the temperature may be reduced to a temperature at which occurance of disconnection in a thermistor by discharging a hydrogen gas is suspected. A temperature detecting system in the hydrogen tank estimates a possibility that a temperature of the hydrogen tank is this temperature or less on the basis of an ambient temperature (a longitudinal axis) and an inner pressure (a lateral axis). Only when there is no possibility that the temperature of the hydrogen tank is not under this temperature (in a hatched region), the disconnection is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
