PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish an editing and transmission system capable of preventing an accident such as a transmission caused by an input error, etc., by enabling data to be unitarily managed by creating data required for a play list in accordance with video images to be actually edited during editing, and reflecting editing with the created data online. SOLUTION: In an editing and transmission system for recording, editing and broadcasting a broadcasting material, roll information created during editing is transmitted to a database and on the basis of the transmitted roll information, a play list is created. The editing and transmission system can be constructed wherein information of the broadcasting material as a result of editing and play list information can be unitarily managed, work efficiency can be improved and an accident caused by an input error can be prevented.
